The charm of the mayen and its cuisine

The owners entrusted the conversion of their mayen to architect Jean-Michel Martignoni, Haute-Nendaz. Among other things, Lathion Frères carpenters and cabinetmakers built and installed the entire kitchen.

In this mini kitchen, every square centimetre is optimized. The refrigerator under a compact oven saves space. The white composite worktop subtly enhances the wood. The suspended lamp above the island, a prototype created especially for this project in the same material as the worktop and translucent, was a challenge met by our team and the electrician. It helped overcome the constraint of the solid wood ceiling, where the integration of spotlights was not possible.
