Lathion Frères is just like its material of choice, wood: it's a company that lasts over time and is reliable. It's also, and above all, a fine family business.
Denis Fournier, great-grandfather of the current manager, opened the first carpenter in Haute Nendaz in 1934. He had learned the carpentry trade from his father. Later joined by his son Maurice, the company has survived the decades.
In 1978, Denis' grandchildren (Maurice, Jean-Marc and Roger) founded the company in its present form: Lathion Frères. They were greatly assisted in this adventure by their father, André.
Renovated and then extended, the building housing the company took on its present form in 1986. Frédéric Lathion, Denis' great-grandson, has been managing the company since 2010.

Our great-grandfather Denis Fournier, having learned the carpentry trade from his father in Basse-Nendaz, opened the first carpentry shop in Haute-Nendaz in 1934. He made coffins.
Later joined by his son Maurice, the company has survived the decades.
In 1978, with the invaluable help of their father André,
the Lathion frères company was created under the management of Denis'
grandchildren: Maurice, Jean-Marc and Roger.
In the early 90s, the company was renovated and expanded. A new building replaced the old one.
Denis' great-grandson, Frédéric Lathion, takes over the reins of the company. He considerably expands the already booming business, offering both mountain and contemporary furnishings. The company becomes a public limited company in 2011.
Adaptation of the premises and creation of a showroom as well as a friendly reception and sales area.
Under Frédéric's direction, complete modernization of the machine park, including two CNC machining centers. Advanced digitization of administrative and technical processes with the implementation of a management ERP and adoption of Industry 4.0 practices adapted to a mountain craftsman. Steady growth in sales and number of employees.
